Hi everyone!

As some of you know Beautiful Brains Books & Games run a real time chat every Thursday night. Because of the time difference, it's not easy for European gamers to attend.

Would any of our fans be interested in a TAG equivalent timed to suit a European audience )and possibly further oversea if we can agree some timing)? Unlike the BBBG show, this one would be just for TAG products (SW, Showdown, and Ubiquity). Your chance to ask questions about recent releases, learn why the content is the way it is, and get hints about what's in the pipe.

I'm interested.

Never attended the BBBG chat because of the time difference, and the time slot on a Tuesday, as i have to rise early coming morning.

If the TAG chat is on a Friday or weekends around midnight GMT once a month, it would be perfect FMPOV. Very Happy

I think it's a great idea. And a chat run in Shetland in the early evening/late evening would be running in the early afternoon/early evening in the colonies (er...I mean States Very Happy ).

It might be difficult for us U.S. fans to join such a live chat, but not that difficult.

Guessing Maryland is -5 hours, so if we started at midnight GMT that's 7 p.m. for you on the East Coast.

I'm interested, but I wouldn't say that midnight GMT is any easier for European gamers to attend to be honest. I know I couldn't make it then as I have to be up at 6.30am weekdays and not much later at weekends.

Personally speaking between 8pm and 10pm GMT would be best.

8PM - 10PM GMT would likely rule out most North Americans, as that would be during regular business hours in the States. Not suggesting that should trump our European friends' schedule needs - just saying.

Not meaning to come across as arrogant, but the question did ask:

There already exists a chat that North American fans can attend:

Initially, I hope to have more of an 8-10 GMT timing for the bulk of the Europeans --I have a life outside TAG as well. Smile

IF the chat proves popular, then I can add one later slot every now and then to cover the US and Enno. Smile

What time zone are the forums' Aussie gamers in? Seems quite possible a morning (GMT) session could be arranged for them on occasion, since that would be evening hours for them.

Huh?

I'm just an hour behind the Shetlands, mate!

The midnight slot was just a suggestion to get most people on either side of the pond in one pot.

8-10 GMT sounds fine to me. Wink

Ah, that's okay then. The US fans get to "hear" me chat every few months on BBBG (March 22nd next, talking about G-Men & Gangsters). I want to make TAG more inclusive to the Brits and Europeans, since they don't get to see us at cons (well, Brits do at UK Games Expo), benefit from GenCon only releases, or win prizes just by spending an hour talking with me. Smile I can't fix the first two, but I can help with the third.

Once Europe is happy, we'll try to expand east to the Far East and Australia, then wrap around back to the States and Canadaland. But these will depend on demand -- I have the time to devote to chatting with the fans.

Very Happy

It's a sensitive topic, but last time i checked Brits are Europeans!
We like you anyway, even when you are reluctant...

Wink

Seriously, your eurocentric approach (of the chat) is appreciated.
