It is nice but I have in inherent dislike of modern GW products.

I find that old GW/MB games heroquest and reaper provide me with the best mini's for painting and sw gives me the best skirmish rules.

GW isn't my thing either. I quit minis years ago, since i never found the figures i was looking for. And my drawing skills are far superior to my mediocre modeling skills, so switched completely to figure flats. In this case i would say: Give me an hour, captain. Wink

Not to derail the thread, but does that mean you have a backlog of figure flats already made, Enno? Perhaps some for Hellfrost that you might be willing to share with the community?

The ones in the modules are wonderful, but I'll admit to building encounters around cool minis in the past and would do so again for cool figure flats.

Only very few, since Hellfrost provided me with an abundance of figure flats.

The few i had to make were very special cases, where the original pictures i digitally modified are copyrighted. So no sharing, just to avoid trouble. Sorry!

Now that the LoF is running, we may ask Rob and Wiggy nicely for nice set of flats like TAG did with the Pirates and British Soldiers years ago.

If you are looking for a unique figure flat i might help you with something i can share. Remember i'm not a professional, and have a time consuming day job. Wink

Isn't the first time... and it concerns LoF in all it's aspects.

Nope, nothing specific. I have enough D&D figs laying around for random reasons that even my PCs have been adequately represented. I was just looking for inspiration anywhere it might be.

We're trying pretty hard to make the transition to Maptools on my giant television anyway and I just haven't made the wholehearted leap. Siege at Watchgap Fort may be the final straw though. That's a big fort and a lot of goblins I wouldn't mind moving with a mouse. Smile

I moved those pesky Goblins with nothing but the power of my mind...
...and increbibly vague descriptions lol.

I think I used the term 'fog of war' to cover up my mistakes too much Very Happy

All maps of Frost Giants Hold are a BIG reason to switch to digital tools. Since i prefer analog gaming, i prepared all the maps in it with Dundjinni.

The map of the village is one of the smaller ones with 1 square meter, Hold Level 2 & 3 are the greatest with about 2-3 square meters each. They are kind of impractical in one piece, but a shocking feast for the eyes when put on the floor (since our gaming table is much too small).

Remark: I just had to take the opportunity in my new job in supporting full color banner laser printer Razz

I'd love to print them all out, but I just don't have access to a reasonably costed printer. And while I'm sure I could find ways to recycle them for other sessions, that wouldn't necessarily be fast or often enough to justify the cost (for me, I'm pretty chintzy).

But here's this giant television and laptops laying all over the place essentially no cost but prep time for importing maps and making figure tokens. I'm starting Shadow of Darkness tonight...I better get on the stick with that.

Wiggy and Robin -

OK, with 6 hours to go and presently we are over £1000 above the goal - what, if any, stretch goals are you listing???

Smile I am excited for this and look forward to the successful conclusion to the Kickstarter Smile

Best - Jeff

We'll be announcing a stretch goal when we reach the target for that goal. Not far off now. A little backward to normal we know, but our primary concern is securing sufficient funding to actually produce the book -- we may be over the required amount, but the safety net between success and failure remains slim.

We have everyone's contact details, so if we get a last minute spurt of pledges we can retrograde rewards.
