I had been thinking about Jekyll/Hyde and voila! A damn fine answer is now here before me.

Thanks!

You're too kind. Hopefully it'll serve as a good starting point for folks to expand upon.

Though I would love to see a full blown expansion, I love your approach and it ticks most of the boxes. Sort of raise you average PC to the mystery man level of a lot of comics.

I need a proper sit down to be able to offer any useful input, but just wanted to say I really appreciate it.

Also read the comic well part 1 and 2 anyway, miles better than the film, but again that failed down to licensing as someone had the rights to Fu-Manchu and wouldn’t come to the party. Crying or Very sad

Thanks for keeping this alive, I am keen to run a game, but can't see it getting the schedule till the end of the year!!!

Yeah, we had stats for Fu-Manchu in LOA, but Tom spotted the character was copyrighted so we had to remove him. I'm not sure if every LoEG character is copyrighted, but their film versions will be. Hence the freebie (not making money off another copyright) and lack of background notes on the named characters.

The graphic novels are better than the movie by a long way, but as a standalone movie (i.e., with nothing much to do with the comics) it works as a brain-off popcorn movie.

I'd go so far as to say it's one of my favourite brain-off-popcorn-movies, right up there with the latest Avengers flick and Sky Captain. In fact those 3 make for a decent night's entertainment, rounded off with Cabin in the Woods (playing a spot-the-monsters drinking game).

I find the graphic novels both are and aren't superior to the movie - the first 2 collections are, but are pretty much unfilmable as an exact reproduction. After that they get a little (lot?) stranger. Not sure I've read the most recent stuff.

I wouldn't bother with the newer ones (well not my cup of tea), though I did enjoy the Nemo's daughter story.
