The Necropolis Setting Book lists the motto of the Ordo Templi Novi (Templars) as being "Non receptus, non concedere" or "No retreat, No surrender." Do the other Sacri Ordines have official mottos and if so what are they?

Nothing official for the others. Sapienta ex igne springs to mind for the Incinerators, though.

Or perhaps "Deus Ex Pax Ordin" which is (I think) God through the Peace of the Sacre Ordines.

Sapientia ex igne means "Wisdom out of fire" correct? Sorry if that's wrong, my latin isn't fantastic.

Basically, yes. It was my mother's school motto. Smile

That almost beats a Russian friend of mine (in her forties) telling me they had to disassemble, clean and re-assemble an AK47 in school as part of their curriculum - and she claims she did it in under one minute...

What did your mother's school use as a motivational tool? Branding Irons?

"There will be no cheating on this test - otherwise, you will be burned with a C on your right cheek! Of course, if you fail it, you'll get a F burned on your left shoulder, but that hasn't happened since 1792. So, no pressure."

No idea, though the school was a former German U-boat base.

From Wiki...

Prince Rupert School (PRS)
The PRS, one of the first comprehensive, co-educational, boarding school of the 1944 Education Act, opened in July 1947 for the children of the British Armed Forces and Control Commission personnel. The site had originally been a German Naval submarine base for two Training Flotillas, then occupied by the Royal Navy post-war as H.M.S. Royal Rupert. The site was handed over on 1 July 1947, and the school continued at Wilhelmshaven until moved to Rinteln 1972.

I am from Wilhelmshaven. My grandmother worked for a while in this school as did an uncle of mine. I know the site from the time when it was still in use as a school for those strange uniformly dressed english students in the early seventies.

Small world! Not sure exactly when my mother was there, but it would be early to mid Sixties, I'd guess.

Found on the web, so the Latin isn't mine. Some are mottoes from the 16-17th century.

Generic: Ad maiorem dei gloriam (AMDG)
For the greater glory of God

Generic: Militamus sub deus.
We fight under (the banner of) god

Preachers: Bene agendo nunquam defessus.
Never weary of doing good.

Preachers: Non deest generoso in pectore virtus.
There is no lack of courage in a noble heart.

Templars: Cedo nulli.
I yield to no one.

Incinerators: Ignis gladio non fodiendus.
The fire should not be stirred by the sword.

Lazarites: Ingenium superat vires.
Genius overcomes strength.

Angel pilots: Nil penna sed usus.
Not the wing, but its use.

Inquisitors: Scandala removenda sunt.
Things causing offense must be removed.

Scouts: Ad eundum quo nemo ante iit
To boldly go where no man has gone before

Penitents: Cuiusvis hominis est errare; nullius nisi insipientis in errore perseverare
Any man can make a mistake; only a fool keeps making the same one

Generic ones of interest...
Flectimur obsequio non viribus.
We bend out of compliance and not because of force.

Dum spiro spero.
As long as I breathe, I hope.

Interiora vide.
Look within.

Common view of the Lazarites: Latet anguis in herba.
A snake lurks in the grass.

Handy insult: Prostibuli eligantia.
The elegance of a whore.

Reputedly said to the Pope by the Grand Master of the Templars after the Battle of New Budapest: Acta est fabula, plaudite!
The play is over, applaud!

Age. Fac ut gaudeam
Go ahead. Make my day!

Bene, cum Latine nescias, nolo manus meas in te maculare
Well, if you don't understand plain Latin, I'm not going to dirty my hands on you.

Brevior saltare cum deformibus mulieribus est vita
Life is too short to dance with ugly women

Caro putridas es!
You're dead meat

Artillerist humor: Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam
I have a catapult. Give me all your money, or I will fling an enormous rock at your head

Conlige suspectos semper habitos
Round up the usual suspects

For Senior Knights and above: Eheu, litteras istas reperire non possum
Unfortunately, I can't find those particular documents

Homo proponit, sed Deus disponit
Man proposes, but God disposes

Semper letteris mandate
Always get it in writing!

Stercus accidit
Sh*t happens

Incinerator grafitti: Tibi gratias agimus quod nihil fumas
Thank you for not smoking
